Southwest Airlines has a very strict policy when it comes to cancellations. You must call within 24 hours of booking if you need to cancel your flight. If you don't call, your ticket will be automatically booked and you will not be able to get a refund. If your flight is cancelled within 24 hours of departure, you will be eligible for a full refund. However, if your flight is cancelled more than 24 hours before departure, you will only be eligible for a refund of the total cost of your ticket.
