Both sketch and 3ds max are great resources for producing a mind blowing architect and interior products. However we have to decide one.
In my opinion both our great each several advantages over another. But if you want to only make 2d and 3d models of interior design than preferring sketchup is the right choice.
The main reason is that is way easier to handle and learn than MAX.
But if you want to remodel or want to make exceptional design with detailed version. Then learn 3ds Max. Yes it is a complex you have spends hours and hours and months and months in learning it.
But at the end after learning this revolutionary software. You will become able to create a master piece of infrastructure that has all the characteristics of living things.
The exact look that it will look after the real construction.
Each interior designing element from sofa to curtains to fan design according to your imagination and creative mind. On the other you cannot perform these tasks on sketch because it offers a limited editing and modeling tools.
Sketch can be used for creating both 2d and 3d plans but 3ds can’t.

Sketch is cheap over in comparison with 3ds max. 3ds max gives realistic photo rendering whereas sketchup is unable to do it.
